A few years ago my mother suffered a stroke and was told that she would never speak or walk again. With much prayer, faith and
dedication she is walking, singing and praising God like she did before. Although she is still on medication to help thin her blood, she still remains vibrant, positive and thankful for every day.
My song entry - "Lord I Need Your Help" was written out of a place of realization that I cannot do anything on my own, but if I turn everything over to Him it will all work out.

Angie Gordon is affectionately called “Sis Angie” by everyone who knows her. Her passion for music and singing came at a very young age. Sis. Angie started out singing and often arranged songs from poems and even random words. This led her to sing, write and direct in both school and church choirs.
Nurtured by her parents in the fear of the Lord, they encouraged her to show forth His praise in song. It is because of them and God that she has a heart of worship.
Over the years Sis. Angie’s unique voice has captivated the ears of every demographic- young and old alike. The ability to sing Contemporary, Reggae, Urban and even Smooth Jazz Gospel and her soulful passion to deliver the message through the art of singing has encouraged and delivered many through Christ Jesus. She has shared the stage with many artists including Deitrick Haddon, Martha Munizzi, Alvin Slaughter, Jules Bartholomew and JudaCamp, & Junior Tucker to name a few.
Sis. Angie’s desire is for people to get closer and connected to God and His will for their lives. She realizes that God has given her a gift and with it she will declare Psalms 89:1. "I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations."
